Perijenopause Podcast: Guest Appearances

HORMONES 101: In this episode of Perijenopause, I help conduct a foundational Hormones 101 conversation every woman wishes she had before she started feeling “off.” Together, we break down what’s actually happening during this phase of life, why so many women are told they’re “too young,” and how outdated information has shaped fear and confusion around hormone therapy.

WHY HORMONES CHANGE LIBIDO (AND NO ONE WARNED US): In this episode of Perijenopause, we have an honest and often-missed conversation about libido changes during perimenopause and menopause. We break down how hormonal changes impact libido, arousal, and comfort, why pain and dryness are common but not normal, and why sexual health is so often overlooked in routine care.

In July 2025, I had the opportunity to record a 12-minute lecture with Grand Rounds Urology, an online platform used to educate Urology Providers: “Menopause: What Every Woman Should Know.” In it, I explored common symptoms, debunked a few persistent myths, and discussed the crucial role of gut health alongside various treatment options available. If you’re curious, I’d love for you to watch the full recording linked below.

Menopause: What Every Woman Should Know

In April 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with a local news station and discuss something I am very passionate about that affects all women but doesn’t get the attention it deserves.  I discuss misconceptions of menopause, how gut health directly influences hormone balance as well as overall health during this stage, treatment strategies including hormone replacement therapy and the need to educate and empower women to advocate for themselves to get the treatment and help they deserve.

Thriving, not just surviving is the goal during this stage of life. With proper help and support, this should be the gold standard for all women.

Menopause: What Every Woman Should Know

In these two video clips, I share with the Director of the School of Applied Functional Medicine, Tracy Harrison, how I helped a client with stress, anxiety, and gut imbalances.
